The Dixie Angels from Turbeville and Barrineau fell 7-0 to Virginia in the first game of the World Series semi-finals in North Myrtle Beach, knocking them out of the tournament. Before they left, parents said they couldn't be prouder. "You have made us the happiest town in the world," said Turbeville resident Jenna Windham during a ceremony kicking-off the team's travel to the World Series last Friday. "You will make us proud if you bring that trophy back. But if you don't, so what? We couldn't be prouder of you than we are right now at this moment. You're already our heroes."
