Franklin Bundy Alexander, 89, husband of Barbara Polson Alexander, died Monday, July 21, 2014, at his home.
Born March 14, 1925, in Union County, N.C., he was a son of the late Crawford Alexander and Odessa Pressley Alexander. He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War and Vietnam Conflict; he was a retired public works employee with the City of Monroe, N.C. ; and was a member of the Southside Ministries of Pageland, a Mason, and a member of the American Legion.
Survivors besides his wife include a step-daughter, Rhonda T. Hooks (John) of Manning; five step-grandchildren, Barry Dale Todd, Jr., Dustin Shane Todd, Paige Louise Todd (Phillip Robinson), Gary Gene Wilson, Jr., and Chelci Lee Wilson; and a number of nieces and nephews.
