The Clarendon County Narcotics Unit has arrested six Clarendon County men for various drug charges.
Capt. Ricky Richards said Tuesday that the men were essentially part of a "round-up" performed by deputies in the last few days. Those charged included:
Joe Tajharey Natron McFadden of 25 Starks Drive in Summerton with trafficking in crack cocaine, second offense, possession with intent to distribute cocaine, first offense, possession of a weapon with the serial number removed and resisting arrest;
Jaquan Edmundson Quzack of 17 Dukes St. in Summerton for four counts each of distribution of crack cocaine, first offense, and distribution of crack cocaine within proximity to a school;
Sheldon Gamble of 901 Branchview Drive in Manning for two counts each of distribution of crack cocaine, first offense, and distribution of crack cocaine in proximity of a school;
Moses Oliver of Meadow Field Drive, Apt. 7A in Summerton with distribution of crack cocaine, first offense, distribution of crack cocaine within proximity of a school and conspiracy to contribute a controlled substance;
Darrick Devon Sweat of 112 Readon St. in Manning with two counts of distribution of marijuana, first offense;
Shane Bennett of 1443 Jim Ross Road in Summerton for distribution of crack cocaine, first offense.
