Betty Jean Spann Boykin, 69, widow of Ervin Sebastian Boykin, died Saturday, June 28, 2014, at her home.
Born Aug. 20, 1944, in Marion, she was a daughter of the late Charlton Spann and Lou Ella Spann Griner. She was a member of McDowell Presbyterian Church in Greeleyville.
She is survived by two sons, Steven Boykin (Mae) of Manning and Todd Boykin (Rose) of Sumter; four grandchildren, Rebecca, Christopher, Andrew and Aleah Boykin; two nephews, Jose and Hugo Spann; a niece, Blanca Spann; and a sister-in-law, Angelina Spann.
A memorial Service will be held 3 p.m. Sunday, July 13, 2014, at Cornerstone Fellowship Free Will Baptist Church with the Rev. John Matthews and the Rev. I. B. Turner officiating.
