A Sumter woman was declared dead about 1:17 a.m. Friday at Clarendon Memorial Hospital after an incident on Lake Marion.
Hailey Joanne Bordeaux died from injuries that appeared to include a broken neck, said Clarendon Deputy Coroner Charles Jackson.
He said an autopsy will be done Saturday at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston.
