FLORENCE, S.C. – The Florence Police Department arrested a Lake City man Wednesday for both prostitution and exposing others to HIV, according to the Florence Morning News.
Curtick Evans Brown, 23, of 703 Old McAllister Road in Lake City, allegedly arranged to trade sex for money with undercover Florence officers through "a national website that hosts advertisements for escort services and other adult entertainment," the News reported.
Brown admitted to being HIV positive. According to state law, he can be convicted for criminal exposure or even assault. He was dressed as a woman during the arranged encounter.
There is no information for bond on the Florence County Public Index. He is in custody at the Florence County Detention Center in Effingham.
