The South Carolina Barbeque Association will hold a class from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. July 12 at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, 1715 Bull St. in Columbia. Cost is $45 and includes lunch. Membership in the SCBA is $35. This all-day seminar is designed to start a person on the path to becoming a full-fledged certified barbecue judge. It is the first of a five-step process toward that goal.
