Clarendon County Dixie Boys play tonight

The Clarendon County Dixie Minors Boys All Star Team lost their game in the 9- to 10-year-olds tournament on Sunday, but won Monday. Both games were played in Sumter. They were defeated 9-6 on Sunday by the Sumter American team. Blaine Kennard took the loss for Clarendon County. Offensively, Clarendon was led by Mickey Jordan and Josh Kennard, who had two hits each, while Austin Geddings and Lowden Olsen each recorded singles on the night. In Monday's game, Clarendon defeated St. George 16-0. Josh Kennard got the win on the mount by pitching two innings of a one-hit baseball. Mickey Jordan finished the remaining inning of the game by striking out all three batters he faced in the inning. Offensively, Clarendon County was led by several players that recorded hits, including Jon McIntosh, Mickey Jordan, Clayton Lee, Dalton  Brown, Austin Geddings and Henry DuRant. They all recorded two hits each, while Lowder Olsen, Josh Kennard, Blaine Kennard, Cantey Gardner, Joe Wilson and Noah Tanner all recorded RBI singles. Clarendon County plays again 6 p.m. today against the winner of the Sumter American and Sumter National contest.
