Low pressure system forms off Florida

              The chance of tropical storm formation of a low pressure system located 140 miles east-northeast of Melbourne Fla. is about 60 percent through the next 48 hours, according to the National Weather Service. A tropical depression is likely to form by mid-week; chance of tropical storm formation through the next five days is 80 percent, the National Weather Service predicted. For today's forecast, a hazardous weather outlook was issued about 4 a.m., calling for the possibility of heavy rainfall late this afternoon and evening, causing flooding of low lying areas for the areas of east central Georgia and central South Carolina. Temperatures are expected to hover around the low 90s today.
