Aidan James Hoffmaster, age 12, beloved son of Robert Bryan Hoffmaster and Betty Denise Williams Hoffmaster, died Sunday, June 22, 2014, at his home.

Born Oct. 12, 2001, in Manning, he was the paternal grandson of Patricia Hoffmaster and the late Donald Hoffmaster and the maternal grandson of the late Larry and Patricia Williams. Aidan loved listening to music and playing with Legos, NERF guns and video games. He will always be remembered as a loving son, brother, grandson, uncle and friend.

Survivors besides his parents and paternal grandmother include three brothers, Kenan Loyd Hoffmaster and his wife, Eveylyn Hawes-Hoffmaster, and Micah Bryce Hoffmaster, both of Sumter, and Mathew Bryan Hoffmaster and Dakota Crider of Merritt, Fla.; three sisters, Kendra Lee Hoffmaster Green and her husband, Will, Kayla Lynn Hoffmaster Yelton and her husband, Justin, and Anyssa Rose Hoffmaster, all of Sumter; and a number of aunts, uncles, nephews and cousins.

A celebration of life for Aidan James Hoffmaster will be held 3 p.m. Saturday at Crosspoint Baptist Church, with Pastor John Sorrells and Pastor Blake Sorie officiating.

The family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m. Friday at Bullock Funeral Home, and other times at the home of his sister, Kendra Owen.
