Mylasia Rankins named 2014 Eastern Star Mary B. Thomas Pageant Queen

Mylasia Rankins was named the 2014 Eastern Star Mary B. Thomas Pageant Queen at the state level on June 14, having raised a total of $4,025. She won the district level first by raising $567. She represented New Light Chapter Unit No. 254. The 8-year-old girl is the daughter of Dayshaun and Sonya Rankins. She will be attending third grade at Manning Primary School in the fall. She is a member of Mt. Chapel Missionary Baptist Church and loves to dance.
