FLORENCE - A Turbeville man has been charged with third-degree criminal sexual conduct with a minor by the Florence County Sheriff's Office. The Weekly Observer reported Tuesday that the arrest on Monday stemmed from an incident with a 13-year-old in Johnsonville nearly a year ago. Benjamin Cameron, 28, of 1016 Powell Circle in Turbeville, posted a $10,000 surety bond, according to the Florence County Public Court Index. If convicted, he could serve up to 15 years in prison, be ordered to pay a fine at the discretion of the court, or both.
