The late Gregory Witherspoon's daughter, Shaquan Brown, has endorsed write-in candidate Sharmane Anderson for the District 5 seat on Manning City Council held by her father until his death in March.
"Personally, I have known Sharmane for numerous years, and I know she will continue to build my late father, Gregory Witherspoon's legacy in excellence," Brown said. "Sharmane is qualified, loyal, dedicated, proactive and will be a great asset to City Council."
