Sharmane Anderson has announced her intentions to run a write-in campaign for the District 5 seat on Manning City Council formerly held by the late Gregory Witherspoon, who died in March. Three others - Gloria J. Frierson, W. Louis Griffith and Julius Dukes Jr. - filed to run for the seat by the May deadline set after Witherspoon's death.
