Sheriff's Office seeks double shooting suspect

The Clarendon County Sheriff's Office is actively seeking a Summerton man deputies believe shot two men at a Davis Station nightclub late Wednesday night. Marco Javon Johnson is wanted on two warrants of attempted murder. Maj. Kipp Coker with the Clarendon County Sheriff's Office said Thursday that deputies entered Damien's Club in Davis Station about 11:30 p.m. Wednesday and found the club's bartender slumped over with blood coming from his mouth and his chest. "He was shot in the chest and face, and he was flown to McLeod Regional Medical Center in Florence," Coker said. "He is in critical, but stable condition." A second victim was shot in the ankle, but left the club in a white Ford Mustang before deputies arrived. Coker said the incident is still under investigation.
