The Manning-Santee American Legion baseball team lost to the Sumter P-15’s 14-12 Tuesday.
Manning-Santee held an 11-6 lead after seven innings, but faced 11 P-15 batters that produced six runs in the top of the eighth inning.
The P-15’s tacked on two more runs in the ninth inning, while Manning-Santee produced one run before striking out three times to end the game.
The two teams will play again Wednesday 7 p.m. at Riley Park in Sumter, and Thursday 7:30 p.m. in Manning.
