SUMMERTON - Tim O'Neill, 60, husband of Donna Tobin O'Neill, died Wednesday, May 21, 2014, at Clarendon Memorial Hospital.
Born Jan. 26, 1954, in New York City, N.Y., he was a son of the late Grover O'Neill Jr. and Kathryn Dunston O'Neill. He was a retired economist and a member of Santee National Golf Course.
Survivors besides his wife of Summerton include a daughter, Eliza O'Neill Sommerville (Gavin) of South Salem, N.Y.; a son, William O'Neill of San Francisco, Calif.; a step-mother, Elizabeth O'Neill of New York; two grandchildren, Marilyn and Cormac Sommerville, both of South Salem; and a sister, Carol Battersby of Orinda, Calif.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, May 24, 2014, in the chapel of Stephens Funeral Home with the Rev. Garland Hart officiating.
Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at Stephens Funeral Home and other times at the residence, 3459 Wash Davis Rd., Summerton.
