AKA Inc. 2014 Little Miss and Miss Ivy Pearl Pageant

The Phi Omega Omega chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Inc. held its 2014 Miss Ivy Pearl and Little Miss Ivy Pearl pageants Sunday at Manning Junior High School. "We allowed this year's contestants to participate in community projects," said President Alfreda Cooper in a release. "They were encouraged ot have friends and family members donate (more than) 150 pounds (of) nonperishable food items to the United Ministries of (Clarendon County)." The young ladies also collected about 35 word puzzles and word finds for Branco Adult Daycare of Manning. Trinity Harris was named Little Miss Ivy Pearl, while Genesis Stokes and Naci Brown were first- and second-runners up, respectively. Alicia Wilson was named Miss Ivy Pearl, while Keyah Jones, Kaitlin Suber and Brikell Livingston were named first-, second- and third-runners up, respectively.
