SUMTER – Nina Mae Brannan Wilson, 94, widow of Duncan Malloy Wilson Jr., died Sunday, May 11, 2014, at Clarendon Memorial Hospital in Manning.

Born Nov. 24, 1919, in Merryville, La., she was a daughter of the late Gaylord A. Brannan and Ida Mae Dill Brannan. She was a member of Manning United Methodist Church.

Survivors include a son, Pastor Jimmy F. (Penny) Wilson of Illinois; a daughter, Sandra W. (James) Owens of Sumter; a daughter-in-law, Nancy Wilson of Maryland; a sister, Betty B. Bozard of Cameron; 13 grandchildren, Pelesia Carson, Jerry Wilson, Lisa Jones and Idegail Dover, all of Illinois, Kelli Romay and Jamie Owens, both of Sumter, Terry and Michael Wilson, both of Salisbury, Md., Michele White of North Carolina, Christine Hare of Arkansas and Marie Connor of Baltimore, Md.; and 30 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by three sons, Bobby Gayle Wilson, Dannie Brannan Wilson and Gerald "Jerry" Flagg Wilson; and two brothers, Latta Lester "Laddie" Brannan and James Gaylord "Junior" Brannan.

A graveside service for Nina Mae Brannan Wilson will be held at 4 p.m. Wednesday, May 14, 2014, in the Manning Cemetery with Pastor Jimmy F. Wilson officiating.

The family will receive friends at the home of her daughter, 2445 U.S. 521 South in Sumter.
