Former Summerton Police Chief Douglas "Buddy" Riley died Friday morning at his home in Paxville. He left the Summerton Police Department in August 2004. He is survived by his wife, Rosalind; a daughter, Crystal; and granddaughters. See the May 8 edition of The Manning Times for more.
