Jimenez factors into Sunday in Augusta

He's a 50-year-old Spaniard with long hair who smokes cigars and drinks wine. Though perhaps unorthodox for a professional golfer, Miguel Angel Jimenez is once again in contention on Sunday at The Masters after he fired a third round 66 to jump into a tie for fifth place. With six birdies, an eagle and a bogey, his 18 holes on Saturday were 10 strokes better than his Friday effort. He has, however, finished in the top 10 three times at Augusta National, and has a chance today to slip into a green jacket. "I love the place," he said after Saturday's round, according to ESPN's golf web site. "It's a beautiful place, a beautiful golf course, always manicured, and I feel great here. Doesn't matter how you play, you feel good, because everything is prepared for us the way it is." Jimenez is not the only older fellow in contention. Sitting at -1 is Fred Couples, 54, who won The Masters in 1992 and has 11 top 10 finishes at Augusta. Jimenez said that being 50 doesn't mean you can't play well, ESPN reported. "I'm still moving. I'm still flexible ... the main thing is I'm doing what I like to do in my life and I'm enjoying it completely." Jimenez tees off at 2:20 p.m. today, 20 minutes before the final pairing of Jordan Speith and Bubba Watson, who share the lead at -5.
