Curtis Venroe Barrineau

Curtis Venroe Barrineau, 78, husband of Ann McClam Barrineau, died Saturday, April 5, 2014, at McLeod Hospice House in Florence.

Born in Clarendon County, he was a son of the late William James Barrineau and Inez Isabelle Driggers Barrineau. Mr. Venroe was a retired farmer and a member of Barrineau Pentecostal Holiness Church.

He was preceded in death by two sisters, Mildred Osborne and Willodean Ross; and five brothers, Hazel Barrineau, Marvin Barrineau, Alvin James Barrineau, William Pet Barrineau and Delbert Barrineau.

Survivors besides his wife of the home include a daughter, Elaine (Neal) Anderson of Timmonsville; a son, Randell (Melodee) Barrineau of Turbeville; a brother, Morrell (Videlle) Barrineau of Turbeville; four grandchildren, Maloree (Kimyada) Davis, Wesley (Jessica) Barrineau, Ryan Anderson and Dylan Anderson; three great-grandchildren, Nolan Rowe Barrineau, Cameron Davis and London Davis; a special sister-in-law, Margie (Charles) Collins; and special nieces, Ashli (Mark) Byrd and Jennifer (James) Bonds.

Funeral services were held Monday, April 7, 2014, at Barrineau Pentecostal Holiness Church with burial in Pine Dale Pentecostal Holiness Church cemetery, directed by Floyd Funeral Home of Olanta. Visitation was held at the home, 4324 Turbeville Highway.
