Ridgeway files for re-election; two others file for House 64

Rep. Robert “Bobby” Ridgeway, D-Manning, has filed for re-election to the House District 64 seat he first won in 2012.

Dr. Robert “Bobby” Ridgeway has filed for re-election in the June 10 Democratic Primary to the House District 64 seat he first won in 2012. Ridgeway will face Gable resident Willie Bethune, who ran unsuccessfully as a petition candidate in 2012, in the primary. Clarendon NAACP Chairman Robert A. McFadden has filed to run in the Republican Primary for the House seat.

Filing for state and county offices opened March 16 and ends noon Sunday.
