Jean Pritchett Cummins, 76, wife of William Simpson "Bill" Cummins, died Monday, March 24, 2014, at Palmetto Health Richland Hospital.

Born Oct. 1, 1937, in Sturgis, Ky., she was a daughter of the late Harry Gilbert Pritchett and Kathryn Omer Pritchett. She was a member of Manning United Methodist Church.

Survivors besides her husband of Manning include two sons, James Cummins of Charleston and David (Paula) Cummins of Savannah, Ga.; six grandchildren, Melanie (Bert) Davis, Sara Waters and Brad Garbett, all of Savannah, Laurence Cummins of Dallas, Texas and Stephanie Cummins and William Cummins, both of Charleston; and three great-grandchildren, William Dais, Emma Davis and Olivia Wrenn.

Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Friday in the chapel of Stephens Funeral Home with the Rev. Dr. James C. Adams officiating. Burial followed in Clarendon Memorial Gardens.

Ace Casten, Tom Erickson, Larry Beemer, Hal Lowder, Cliff Cross and Scott Keisling will serve as pallbearers.

Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Thursday at Stephens Funeral Home and other times at the home, 1703 Wyboo Ave. in Manning.
