SUMMERTON — Donald Edward Kerl, 81, of Summerton, husband of Patricia Carr Kerl, died Friday, March 14, 2014, at Lexington Medical Center in Lexington after a short illness.
He was a son of the late Edward and Amy Kerl. He worked maintenance at Federal Mogul in Summerton until his retirement. He taught many about boating and fishing, as he had a love of the water. He will be greatly missed by family and friends.
Survivors besides his wife include three sons, Dennis, Tim and Jeremy; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren living in Pennsylvania, Maine and South Carolina.
