ArborOne offering Aim-At-Ag Scholarship

FLORENCE - ArborOne Farm Credit has two scholarships for high school seniors interested in pursuing a career path in agriculture. Eligible applicants are high school seniors who plan to continue their education at a two- or four-year college on a full-time basis. The student must live within ArborOne's 12-county territory, which includes Clarendon, Chesterfield, Darlington, Dillon, Florence, Georgetown, Horry, Lee, Marion, Marlboro, Sumter and Williamsburg counties. ArborOne Farm Credit is an agricultural lending cooperative owned by its member-borrowers and serving the 12 counties of the Pee Dee region of South Carolina. It provides farm loans for land, equipment, livestock and production; loans for recreational property; crop insurance; and rural home mortgages. ArborOne is part of the national Farm Credit System, a network of financial cooperatives established in 1916 to provide a dependable source of credit to farmers and rural America.
