The Laurence Manning Academy girls teams were both victorious against Manning High School's teams on Thursday night. The JV girls team had a final score of 27-2 against the JV Monarchs, bringing their record to 7-0 on the season. Brooke Ward was the winning pitcher, with seven strikeouts. Sara Herbert was 5-6 with three doubles. Sarah Knight Nalley was 3-4 with two doubles. Ellen Dinkins was 2-3. Lundee Olsen was 3-3 with three doubles. They play again Saturday in a Sumter tournament. The Lady Saints beat the Lady Monarchs 23-0, and Dakota Jackson was the winning pitcher.
