According to an incident report from the Clarendon County Sheriff's Office, no bomb was found at Manning Junior High School on Friday afternoon. A threat was received by a secretary in the main office about 12:10 p.m. The woman notified the school resource officer, Deputy Freddie Huth, that "they advised her in a very soft voice that they were calling about a bomb threat." Huth then evacuated the students to Manning High School, according to Clarendon 2 Superintendent John Tindal. Farmer's Telephone is working to get a trace on the number from which the call came.
