District 2 part of new health initiative, nurse registry

A new registry should make Cindy Nerheim’s life a lot easier. She is Clarendon School District 2’s lead nurse, and is excited to be taking part in the new SCI Registry, a joint Department of Health and Environmental Control and S.C. Department of Education initiative. While DHEC has long had a central registry to keep track of which children are immunized and which immunizations they’ve received, the SCI Registry will make those records available to school nurses.
