The Lady Swampcats' Head Coach Kendra Rowland had to pause and think for a moment to sum up the play of her LMA team Tuesday night after a solid 54 to 44 win over Orangeburg Preparatory at the Sumter Exhibition Center.
"I just felt like we had a very disciplined defense. We stayed out of foul trouble, we blocked out and we did all the little things we needed to do," she said. "It was just a team effort."
Rowland praised the tough play of Orangeburg Prep's Lady Indians, calling them a "great team" that stayed focused the entire game.
"My girls did an excellent job. I'm proud. I'm super proud."
