Clarendon County Emergency Management Director Anthony Mack just sent manninglive.com updated numbers for homes without power within the county. While Santee Electric has reported more than 20,000 homes in its four-county jurisdiction without power, only 4,743 of those homes are in Clarendon County. Duke Energy has 1,451 homes without, and Black River has 560 without power.
Crews continue to work around the county, and Manning Mayor Julia Nelson reported earlier that Duke Energy has provided even more crews for Clarendon County.
