JUDGE WILL TAKE TIME WITH STINNEY CASE

SUMTER – The family of two young Alcolu girls killed on a bright spring day in 1944 were sure of two things last week as they met the family of accused killer George Stinney Jr. in a Sumter courtroom. The first was that the boy was guilty when he was executed by the state of South Carolina just 81 days after the murders. The second was that they are tired of reliving the event over-and-over again.
