SC State shooting suspect arrested

ORANGEBURG - The man accused of shooting a fellow South Carolina State University student to death after an argument outside a dormitory on Friday has been charged with murder, the State Law Enforcement Division announced Saturday afternoon.

Justin Bernard Singleton, 19, is accused of shooting 20-year-old Brandon Robinson, a member of the school’s football team. Police say Singleton shot Robinson in the neck while the two were arguing outside a residence hall. Robinson later died at a nearby hospital.
